SHARMA GLOBAL BIOTECH LABORATORY (SGBL), Ranchi is one of Jharkhand's premier biotechnology laboratories, established in 2023 with the vision of providing world-class laboratory facilities, practical training, project guidance and research support for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students in Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology and other Life Science disciplines.

Registered under MSME (UDYAM-JH-20-0016816) and certified with ISO 9001:2015, SGBL bridges the gap between classroom learning and practical scientific research through modern laboratory infrastructure, advanced practical exposure and innovation-driven academic support.

Founded by Prof. (Dr.) Hanuman Prasad Sharma, Former Professor, University Department of Botany, Ranchi University and Former Pro Vice Chancellor, Sido Kanhu Murmu University, Dumka, SGBL is committed to nurturing future scientists through quality education, practical excellence and research-oriented learning.
